Eid ul Adha Wishes, Messages & Greetings 2026

Published by HBSMWA · 4 June 2026 · 3 min read

The most common greeting on Eid ul Adha is Eid ul Adha Mubarak (blessed Eid) or the sunnah phrase Taqabbal Allahu minna wa minkum— “May Allah accept from us and from you.” The Prophet ﷺ and companions used this greeting during Eid, making it the most authentic wish to share.

Below are beautiful wishes and messages for Eid ul Adha 2026 to share with family, friends, and colleagues on WhatsApp, social media, or in cards.

On this blessed day of sacrifice, may Allah reward your obedience, accept your worship, and grant you Jannah. Eid Mubarak to you and your family!

Eid ul Adha Mubarak! On this day of giving, let us remember those less fortunate and open our hearts and our hands in charity. May Allah bless every act of giving.

Sunnah Greeting

Taqabbal Allahu minna wa minkum — May Allah accept [our deeds] from us and from you. Wishing you a blessed Eid ul Adha full of His mercy and grace.

Obedience Theme

Happy Eid ul Adha! May this sacrifice be a reminder that nothing is more precious than our obedience to Allah. May He bless you and your family abundantly.

The Best Eid Greeting: The Sunnah Way

The most authentically established Eid greeting from the Sunnah is:

تَقَبَّلَ اللَّهُ مِنَّا وَمِنْكُمْ

Taqabbal Allahu minna wa minkum

May Allah accept from us and from you.

— Used by the companions of the Prophet ﷺ on Eid days (Ibn Hajar in Fath al-Bari confirmed this)

It is also permissible to say “Eid Mubarak,” “Eid Sa'eed,” or any warm greeting that wishes goodness and barakah.

This Eid, Give Someone More Than a Message

The spirit of Eid ul Adha is generosity — Ibrahim's sacrifice was an act of pure giving. Beyond your WhatsApp message, consider giving Qurbani, donating a water well, or funding mosque construction on behalf of a loved one. A Sadqa Jariyah gift is a wish that keeps earning reward long after Eid is over.

Give the Gift of Sadqa Jariyah This Eid

A water well or mosque donation in a loved one's name — the gift that earns reward forever.
