The most important question any donor can ask before giving to a Gaza charity is: “How do I know my money actually reaches families?” It is a completely legitimate concern. The aid sector has seen enough failures and fraud that healthy scepticism is not just reasonable — it is responsible.
At HBSMWA, we welcome this question. Here is a complete, honest account of how your Gaza donation moves from your screen to a family's hands.
Your donation is received through our payment gateway (card, bank transfer, or Payoneer). It is logged against the Gaza appeal specifically. Our 100% donation policy means zero admin is deducted from this amount.
Your donation is allocated to the Gaza fund within 24 hours. We batch Gaza donations to achieve efficient transfer volumes — small individual transfers carry higher fees, so we batch weekly.
We transfer funds to our verified Gaza partner organisations through regulated channels — typically via Jordanian or Egyptian partner banks with established Palestinian connections. Every transfer has a receipt and reference number.
Our Gaza partners procure food, supplies, or Qurbani animals locally in Palestine. Local sourcing stretches your money further than importing goods, and it supports the local economy. Every purchase has a receipt.
Goods are packaged in standard family-sized portions and distributed to pre-verified families. Our partners photograph every distribution — family, package, location. Distribution lists are maintained and verifiable.

HBSMWA is small and lean. Our overhead is minimal because we are a grassroots Pakistani NGO. This means more of your pound reaches Gaza — and it means you can call us, email us, and get a direct answer from a real person, not a call centre.
