Nusuk Hajj 2026: Application, Registration & Login Guide
Until a few years ago, applying for Hajj from many parts of the world meant navigating a patchwork of national agencies, accredited tour operators, and paper-based quota systems. In 2022, Saudi Arabia launched Nusuk Hajj — a unified digital platform consolidating Hajj applications for pilgrims from many international countries. This guide walks you through how to register, apply, and log in to Nusuk Hajj for 2026.
What is Nusuk Hajj?
Nusuk (Arabic: نسك, meaning "rites" or "acts of worship") is the Saudi Ministry of Hajj and Umrah's official digital platform. It includes:
- Nusuk Hajj — for international pilgrims applying to perform Hajj.
- Nusuk Umrah — for visitors performing Umrah.
- Nusuk app — a broader pilgrimage and tourism platform covering visits, prayers, and Saudi attractions.
Nusuk Hajj was rolled out to streamline the chaotic application process for non-Gulf pilgrims and to give travelers direct access to Saudi-approved package providers without going through legacy national quota systems in some countries.
Who needs to use Nusuk Hajj?
Nusuk Hajj covers pilgrims from many countries that previously had no formal national Hajj agency, or whose process was opaque. As of recent Hajj seasons, this has included:
- USA, UK, Canada
- Most of Europe
- Australia, New Zealand
- Many countries in Africa, Latin America, and East Asia
Check the Nusuk Hajj website (haj.nusuk.sa) to confirm whether your country is currently served by the platform.
Pilgrims from countries with established national Hajj schemes (Pakistan, Indonesia, Malaysia, India, Bangladesh, GCC countries, etc.) typically apply through their own ministries — not Nusuk Hajj. Always check both routes.
Nusuk Hajj registration — step by step
Step 1: Visit haj.nusuk.sa
Open the official Nusuk Hajj portal. Beware of fraudulent lookalike sites — verify the URL carefully.
Step 2: Create an account
Click "Register" or "Sign Up". You'll need:
- A valid passport (with at least 6 months validity beyond your travel date).
- An email address.
- A working mobile number (international format).
- Personal details — name as on passport, date of birth, nationality, gender.
Step 3: Verify your account
You'll receive a verification email or SMS. Click the link or enter the code to activate your account.
Step 4: Browse approved packages
Once logged in, you can browse Hajj packages from Saudi-approved service providers for your country. Packages typically vary by:
- Tier — economy, standard, premium, VIP.
- Distance from Haram — the closer the hotel, the higher the price.
- Inclusions — flights, transport, meals, group leader, guided rituals.
- Length of stay — typically 14–25 days total.
Step 5: Submit your application
Select your package, provide passport scans and any required documents (e.g. proof of vaccinations, a recent photo), and submit. Some packages require an immediate deposit; others reserve your spot pending payment.
Step 6: Make payment
Payment is generally made through the platform via international card. Save all receipts and confirmation emails.
Step 7: Await confirmation
Once your application is approved and payment cleared, you receive a confirmation. Saudi Arabia issues your Hajj visa as part of the process — you do not apply separately.
Nusuk Hajj login — how to access your account
To log in:
- Visit haj.nusuk.sa.
- Click "Login" in the top-right corner.
- Enter your registered email and password.
- If you've forgotten your password, click "Forgot Password?" and follow the reset link sent to your email.
- If you can't access your registered email, contact Nusuk support directly through the help section.
Always log out after using a public or shared device.
Common Nusuk Hajj questions
When does Hajj 2026 registration open on Nusuk?
Registration typically opens between late November of the previous year and early February of the Hajj year. For Hajj 2026, expect the window to open between November 2025 and February 2026. Watch the official portal for the exact date.
How early should I register?
As soon as registration opens. Demand vastly exceeds supply. Premium packages sell out within hours; even economy options fill within days or weeks in many countries.
Can I apply without using Nusuk?
If your country has its own national Hajj ministry (Pakistan, Indonesia, Malaysia, etc.), yes — you typically apply through it. For countries served by Nusuk, however, this is the only legitimate route.
What if my Nusuk Hajj application is rejected?
Rejections are usually due to documentation errors (passport validity, mismatched name spellings) or quota exhaustion. Check the rejection reason in your account dashboard, correct the issue, and re-apply if possible — though by then, packages may be sold out.
Are Nusuk Hajj packages refundable?
Cancellation policies vary by package and provider. Read the terms carefully before paying. Most packages have a tiered refund schedule — full refund up to a certain date, partial after.
Do I need a Mahram if I'm a woman?
Saudi Arabia removed the Mahram requirement for women under 45 in 2021. Women can now perform Hajj in groups without a male guardian — though some travel agencies may still impose their own requirements.
Avoiding Nusuk Hajj scams
Hajj is a high-value transaction with high emotional stakes — which makes it a magnet for fraud. Protect yourself:
- Only book through haj.nusuk.sa or verified agents listed on the platform.
- Verify URLs. Watch for lookalike domains.
- Never pay through informal channels — bank transfer to a personal account, gift cards, crypto, etc.
- Demand a written contract with refund terms, hotel name, distance from Haram, and full inclusions.
- Check reviews of the agency from previous pilgrims.
If something feels off, walk away. There is no Hajj urgency that justifies an unsafe transaction.
After your Nusuk Hajj application is approved
You'll receive a Hajj visa, your travel documents, and instructions from your package provider. Use the time before departure to:
- Read about the rites — see our 7 steps of Hajj guide.
- Memorize the Talbiyah and key duas.
- Get medically prepared — vaccinations (meningitis is mandatory), good walking shoes, hydration plan.
- Settle your affairs — debts, family arrangements, will.
A reminder for those still planning
If your Hajj 2026 application doesn't go through, the season's blessings are still yours. The first ten days of Dhul Hijjah open the gates of reward to every Muslim, anywhere.
Give Qurbani 2026 with HBSMWA — your sacrifice feeds flood-affected families in Pakistan and Palestine. Or fund a water well as Sadaqah Jariyah — a continuous reward inspired by Zamzam itself.
